Great hotel and really reasonably priced compared to the hotels in the town centre. Villa Toscana was about a 10 minute walk into the town. You can park on site for free which is really handy as you have to pay for parking in town. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us King cards on our arrival which got us into the Museum and a free ride in the Cable Car...a must!...apparently you can use them in lots of other places too. It was also really nice to find fluffy dressing gowns and slippers in the room but a shame that the spa wasn't yet open when we were there. There were also no drinks facilities in the room, is this normal for German hotels? The room was clean, cleaners came daily, with a decent size flat screen tv, lovely big bathroom with free products. Sadly the bed was a bit hard and on the small side, my partner and I didn't sleep too well but can forgive that as overall the hotel, staff and food were great. Would definitely stay there again.
I loved the spacious rooms and bathrooms, the simple furnishings, the lovely wood floors...everything. The "private park" confused me until I arrived, it is a large plot of lovely land in the middle of the town with a view of the mountains. The bottle of wine, opener and glasses in the room was a nice touch, although I must admit I didn't see the rest of the rooms amenities until someone else pointed them out. The breakfast room is beautiful, and the service was excellent.
The shower head needs to be replaced, when adjusted, water sprayed out of the joints.
For those who love peace and quiet - the most wonderful place. The magnificent park at the hotel, a remarkable building of the hotel, lovely room overlooking the park and the Alps. Very friendly and attentive staff, great breakfasts. The city center is 10-15 minutes walk. This hotel deserves the highest recommendations.
There is nothing that I disliked about this hotel.
Beautiful hotel with friendly service. The amenities are very nice for the price and a traveller feels very comfortable.
A little outside of town.
Nice people, good breakfast, wifi free, clean room, free parking
Style of the rooms, a little far away from the center
Nice hotel and staff were quite pleasant and took care of our every need. Breakfast was better than average. Room was very clean and hotel is in a nice quiet area of town. Walk to the old town area is about 10 minutes.
Attention Ladies….. Please note that all the floors in this building are made of hard wood and the noise of your click clacking across the floor with your high heels reverberate through every room in the building when there is a dead calm at say 02:00 in the morning. Please ladies, respect the desire of the rest of the folks in the building trying to get some sleep and take off your shoes after coming back to the hotel from a long night of partying. Husbands/boyfriends…… please help the rest of us enjoy our hotel stay by asking your bride/girlfriend to kindly take off their shoes upon entering your room and use the clean, brand new, no cost slippers provided by the hotel staff. Note that this comment is not intended to negatively impact anything about this hotel as it’s quite nice, a great location and we will be coming back again. During this stay there just happened to be a completely inconsiderate female guests on one of the nights we stayed at this hotel that didn’t care about the other guests and decided to stomp around in her high heels for about an hour before she finally passed out.
Cjopseness to town
Shower was too small
Beautiful villa. Lovely room with fabulous view of mountains.
No tea/coffee in room. Bit of a walk into Fussen.
10-15 min walk to downtown. Good breakfast although on one day the restocking of food was a little slow. Easy location to drive to and with adequate parking.
Room layout was a little tight - minimal space on sides of bed leaving little space for luggage.
Wide and greenful hotel area.
The hotel was very updated and new. Beautiful surroundings.
The elevator closed at 8 pm so we had to use the stairs to get to our room. We were on the second floor, so if you have any handicap, it could be a problem.
Clean room, pleasant environment, easy access.
Room a bit small
A great hotel build on an old big house. A fantastic garden, fabulous views of the Alps, great breakfast, the room was great.
If te hotel was closer to the old center of Fuessen, everything would have been perfect.
The hotel is really nice with a great view and room!
It is in a really nice location as long as you do not mind a ten to fifteen minute walk to the shopping district. It is on an old estate that is surrounded by beautiful landscaping and was very quiet at night. Ample parking is on premises.
The rooms could use at least one comfortable chair. Everything else was fine.
